About Us
Frisco Ice Hockey Association (FIHA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded to support and promote youth ice hockey in Frisco, Texas.
Founded in 2001, FIHA provides students who reside in the Frisco Independent School District the opportunity to compete in high school hockey at both the Varsity and Junior Varsity levels.
The club is open to players from 7th - 12th grades. Players may attend public, private or homeschool.
FIHA is dedicated to developing young hockey players in a supportive teaching environment that emphasizes teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and personal growth. While FIHA is not officially sponsored by Frisco ISD, the organization is authorized to represent the district's colors and teams and has earned a reputation as one of the most respected youth hockey programs in Texas. FIHA is committed to providing affordable opportunities for local athletes to learn, compete, and excel both on and off the ice.

The purpose of FIHA is to:
- Inspire youth participation in amateur ice hockey regardless of race, creed, or gender.
- Promote the ideals of sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, and physical fitness.
- Bring area players together through the game of hockey while teaching the fundamental skills necessary for success.
- Encourage players, coaches, parents, and spectators to demonstrate exemplary character and behavior both on and off the ice.
Through its commitment to player development, community involvement, and positive youth experiences, FIHA continues to provide a pathway for young athletes to build confidence, friendships, and lifelong skills through the sport of hockey.
