Born and raised in Sarnia, Ontario where he participated in youth hockey at all levels, Mike was also active in basketball, football, track & field and swimming. After graduating from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, he moved to Dallas in 1998 to attend chiropractic college.

Mike is married to Andrea and has three children, Cullen, Ethan and Mackenzie.

Coach Lester is a native of Frisco where he spent five seasons playing for Frisco Ice Hockey Association from 2005-2010 and graduated from Frisco’s Centennial High School in 2010.

During his time as a player with the organization he played in city championship games, state tournament games and served as a captain his senior year. He is also an alumnus of the Texas Aces organization and Dallas Junior Hockey Association (DJHA) where he served in captain roles and played in state championships. Coach Lester currently works as a Social Media Manager at Cinemark Theatres and enjoys spending time with his family.

Coach Rose is an experienced Head Coach who has coached all age and skill levels. He is successful at teaching individual and team skills while valuing the importance of teaching life skills through sport.

Coach Sikora played for the inaugural FIHA team as a forward and made the transition to goalie in the second season. From there, he played hockey in the DFW area. He was able to play juniors and at the collegiate level. As a coach, he has worked with multiple travel organizations around DFW. Coach Sikora has coached with Frisco since 2012. Areas of focus include: Basic Fundamentals, Goaltending Concepts, Confidence, and Communication. With these, there are countless other lessons that can be taught. Coach Sikora hopes to use his playing and coaching experience as a means to help the players improve themselves and try and reach their full potential.

Skating Coach

Amanda was born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario where she began her youth skating career at the age of 3. She dedicated her time to focus on skating and developed in to a competitive figure skater. At the age of 19, she accepted a position with Feld Entertainment's Disney On Ice traveling the globe from 1994 - 1998. She moved to North Texas in 1999 and started a competitive figure skating coaching career. In 2013, she added power skating for hockey players to her lesson schedule to help refine their edge quality. She eventually pulled away from figure skating and now focuses full-time on helping hockey players throughout DFW to improve their skating skills. She has worked with individual players of all ages, extending to house league teams, travel associations & professional power skating camps. 

With over 40 years of skating experience, she is highly technical in her teaching methods and works towards helping skaters produce more efficient power and edge control to maximize their hockey performance. 

When she's not on the ice, she is leading group fitness classes at Frisco's LA Fitness clubs, spending time with her husband on their motorcycle & wrangling her crazy Siberian Huskies!
