Frisco Ice Hockey Association is a member of the Texas Scholastic Hockey League. offering both Varsity and Junior Varsity programs for students who reside in the Frisco Independent School District.
Eligibility
Players must meet the following requirements to play for FIHA:
Enrolled in 7th through 12th grade
Live in an area zoned for FISD
Birth year 2013 or older (for the fall 2026-2027 season)
Homeschool and private school students that live in FISD are also eligible.
TRYOUTS
Varsity Camp - Mon 8/3 & Wed 8/5:
7:00am - 8:15am
Varsity Tryouts - Saturday, 8/8:
11:15am - 1:00pm
JV Camp - Tues 8/4 & Fri 8/7 :
7:00am - 8:15am
JV Tryouts - Sunday 8/9:
9:00am - 10:45am
Uniform Fitting - Sunday 8/9:
10:00am - 12:00pm
WHEN
The fall season begins with tryouts in August and runs through playoffs in February or March.
Where
All practices are held at Comerica Center in Frisco, TX.
Games are played at rinks throughout the DFW metroplex.
Games
Teams will play an estimated 2 leveling games and 18 regular season games. Teams that make playoffs could play an additional 1-4 games.
JV games are typically on Sunday.
Varsity games are typically on Wednesday or Sunday.
Practices
Teams practice 1-2 times per week. Optional skill practices are available throughout the season.
Season Costs
Costs for the fall season are being finalized and will be posted soon.
UNIFORMS
Uniform packages are required for all players and are available for purchase once a player is rostered on a team.

Join our FIHA coaches at pre-tryout camp to prepare for season tryouts.
VARSITY CAMP:
Monday, August 3rd & Wednesday, August 5th from 7:00am - 8:15am
VARSITY TRYOUTS:
Saturday, August 8th from 11:15am - 1:00pm
JV CAMP:
Tuesday, August 4th & Friday, August 7th from 7:00am - 8:15am
JV TRYOUTS:
Sunday, August 9th from 9:00am - 10:45am

All players that are rostered on a team will need to attend uniform fittings on Sunday, August 9th from 10:00am - 12:00pm.
